Students Facing Deporation

While the Dream Act is still pending, many undocumented students are fearing for their lives. Many Americans who are against the bill do not realize how stressing this can be for students who may be facing deportation. They do not realize that it is not the fault of the students who are just trying to adapt to the American culture. The Dream Act is set to build character and it is only meant for students who are dedicated to learn and succeed in this country. The students benefiting from this bill are students who have come to the US from a young age and who have graduated from high school. The fact that they have come this far to graduate from secondary schooling shows the passion and the will for success. An issue that is not discussed often enough is the fact that the situations undocumented students are faced with are often the cause of emotional distress and depression in many of these students.
